Antique Australian Edwards & Co Ensign Pure Coffee 6Lb Grocer’s Serving Tin
Please check the Photos. Registered c1908, so this tin would have been produced in 1908 or shortly afterwards. Edwards & Co had offices in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. Manufacturers labels is still clear and easy to read, the body of the tiny has some dings, as clearly shown, which is commensurate with the age and use. The grocer would have used the tin multiple times a day until it was emptied, and was then usually thrown away. A rare find.
