Unique Vintage Carved Mulga Wood Kangaroo Figural Stand Marquetry of Timbers
Please check the Photos. Good condition, commensurate with the age, as per the photos. Classic Australiana, c1950's, lovely condition, with a few age related marks. Featuring a large carved kangaroo in an aboriginal design, made from a single piece of mulga wood. The stand features a beautifully decorated turned stem, using various native timbers, including mulga wood, & Silky Oak. A great example of the 1950's mulga wood pieces, that were very popular at the time.
